Generate a new main product photo

Create and review a new scene from your original main photo using Gemini.

1. Open an imported product in Import product or Import library. Find AI product photography beneath Variants & inventory.
2. Connect a Gemini API key with image-model access and paid quota in Settings → AI. Main-image generation uses a dedicated image model, not DeepSeek or your text-optimization model.
3. Choose Warm studio, Natural lifestyle or Minimal background. Confirm permission to edit and send the reference to Gemini, then Generate main image. One 2K preview is requested; provider billing applies, estimated around $0.11 per request.
4. Compare the original and preview. Verify the exact product shape, color, finish, materials and included parts. AI cannot guarantee accuracy or establish reuse rights.
5. Check the product-review confirmation and choose Use as main image. For a Studio draft it is saved for later transfer; for an existing Etsy draft the button uploads at rank 1 without deleting existing photos. Other photos stay unchanged.
6. Use original instead before transfer to undo your selection. Saved previews remain private to your account. Refresh status after an interruption before requesting another paid generation.
